Palanga Resort Museum – seaside museum with rich history archive of Lithuanian beach culture, aristocrats of the XIXth century and city development. Unfortunately, it felt that the museum exhibition was stuck in the same century as its origins. And today’s visitor searches for interaction with the content everywhere.
Together with interactive solution studio Gluk Media, our team was tasked to create timeless, engaging digitized exhibition branding with over a dozen of activation zones.
Work included visual identity development, UI of activation zones, infographics, illustration, icon design, overall art direction.
The content of the museum is photography rich, with lots of interesting trivia. Thus design solutions should not obstruct the images or other content, but rather put emphasis where needed. So a minimalist design approach with bootstrapped compositions, clear UI elements and aligned color scheme was selected to do the job.
